Handmade Fleece Bib Overalls

Fleece Bib Overalls!
We are building a house so unfortunatly I don't have time to make time intensive overalls at this time.   I apologize for tempting you!

Snuggle into a pair of fleece bib overalls and you will never want to take them off.  The kangaroo chest pocket makes a great hand warming spot while the deep side pockets hold plenty of stuff.  They are made out of 200 or Thin 100 weight fleece and have neat plastic buckles.  Please contact me for availability.  I can also make custom pairs for people with unique sizing or color needs.

Please note any special instructions in your order or I will make the overalls based on my standard pattern measurements.  Also please note if you want them made out of  standard 200 weight fleece or thinner Thin 100 weight fleece.  Available colors change frequently so please call or e-mail me for options.

Sizing Chart
Please note that these are actual measurements from the overalls. My sizes run large for women.
Please add at least 2 inches from actual body measurements to give room for wearing in the hip/waist area..  All measurements are in inches
SIZE X Small Small Medium Large
HIP 35" 40" 45" 48"
WAIST 32" 38" 42" 44"
Length from crotch to front top. 22.5" 23.5" 25" 27.5"
INSEAM
Please give me your inseam measurement in the special note section of the order form.
The inseam is the measurement from the crotch to the cuff of the overalls.   People wear fleece overalls lower than their normal pants so deduct about 2" from your measurement unless you are measuring overalls.

What Customers Have to Say:

Hi, Ryan.  I received the overalls last week and took it with me to a short climb in eastern Sierras the last couple of days.  They were great.  Wore them during the day and slept in them during the one night we spent on the mountain.  No hindering of movements while climbing and very comfortable sleeping in them.  Temperatures didn't go very low, but it did snow, and the overalls were warm and had no problem with the snow; didn't wear shell pants and we were swimming in snow much of the time.  I'll be using them for few more trips this winter, but no doubt I'll take them up with me to Denali.  When I checked out your workmanship after receiving the overalls, it just made me smile.  I'll be long dead and buried before any seams on these babies come undone.  Thanks Ryan, and I'll get back to you after the Denali trip (which is in June).

Dear Ryan,
The overalls arrived yesterday. They’re perfect. Roomy and comfortable and the color is perfect. I love them.
Thanks so much,

Hi Ryan,
We got the overalls we ordered in plenty of time for Christmas.  My girlfriend loves them and they fit perfectly.  We are getting plenty of snow and cold and she has had plenty of opportunities to try them out.  Thanks for the great piece of handcrafted clothing.  It is nice not to have to support a sweatshop in some far off land.  We assume that the mice are well paid and given plenty of time off.
Thanks again, and Happy New Year!

Kick ass job on the threads. Went fishing yesterday morning at the spillway and wore the bibs, a thin long sleeve shirt and a medium weight hoodie. I got there around six in the a.m. and left just after eight. The wind wasn’t but around five miles an hour, still I didn’t feel cold at all. I was very cozy. I had no idea what the temperature was but I had to leave because I couldn’t feel my fingers anymore to tie knots. It turns out the temp was THIRTY FOUR degrees!!!! I couldn’t believe how comfortable I was. Well, except for my hands. And they aren’t bulky like the other insulated bibs I have. I cant hardly tell im wearing anything at all. SWEET… thanks again ryan. Oh, and the size was just right.

Ryan,
You and the other mice outdid yourselves on my order!!  It arrived promptly and everything fit perfectly.  I love the overall fabric--glad you pointed that out to me.  I donned my overalls on Saturday, a chilly, dreary AR day, after another day of wear on Sunday and I had to wash them today.  I feel like sitting by the dryer and waiting for them like our daughter did as a child with her favorite terry cloth shorts and shirts!!  I will remember you for gifts and pass on you site to friends and family with the highest recommendations.
Thanks!

Just a big thank you Ryan.
The bibs fit perfectly and are balmy HA! Seriously balmy-did some minor tasks in the yard today at 7F and wearing just a thin Smartwool tights under them and I felt no cold, not even a hint of it. The pockets are also well placed and designed.
Overall 10 out of 10 stars.

Ryan,
I received my order in the mail today. I'm not sure that my father will EVER take the overalls off. You do some great work, everything is perfect.
Thank you.

About the fleece
Most of my fleece is made by Malden Mills here in the USA.  It is the best fleece available and goes by the brand name Polartec®

Technical Highlights

Provides warmth without the weight and bulk of traditional insulating fabrics

Highly breathable to provide comfort in all activities; does not restrict the movement of moisture vapor

Dries quickly to minimize heat loss

Durable; will outlast other imported fleece fabrics.  Plus it is made in the USA!

Machine washable.  Please turn hats with eyes inside out to protect them.

Versatile; appropriate for a broad range of activities

I work with two different thicknesses which provide different levels of insulation for outdoor activities.

100 weight fabrics are the lightest and are excellent for a warm first layer, for heavy aerobic activity such as running or for  warmer climates.

200 weight is about twice as thick as 100wt.  It is the normal weight that jackets are made of.  It provides outstanding warmth and versatility.

300 weight is the thickest.  It provides the most warmth.  It normally is too thick for most hats

Berber  is a special fleece that is nubbly on the outside with a smooth face for the inside.   Many folks enjoy the texture of this fabric.  It is not as wind resistant as regular fleece.
