Polar Fleece Skirts have to be one of the most comfortable clothing items on earth. We all like to snuggle up in a fleece blanket on a cold winter day. Fleece skirts convert that comfort into a fashionable and flattering garment. Once you put one on you won't want to remove it until summer. Perhaps not even then! The skirts are made out of four panels of thin 100 weight fleece to reduce bulk. There is a generous flare cut into the bottom for ease of movement and comfortable lounging on the couch. The waist is a low profile 3/4 inch elastic band sewn inside the fleece. I sew the elastic without any bunch on the front panel so it lays flat. Sizes run a bit large.

Custom Skirts Made to Fit You
I sew the skirts custom for each order so that you can get the best fit possible. Below you will see a measurement chart for the skirts. Please note that these are actual measurements from the skirts. My sizes run large. For best fit please make sure that the skirt is at least 2 inches larger than your actual hip measurements. Please note that I make custom lengths at no extra charge.

My colors are constantly changing so here is a partial list of what I have:

Single Sided 100weight fleece. MOST POPULAR I put the fleecy side out and the smooth non fleecy side in. They are the most popular as they hang beautifully and do not bind up as much on tights or long underwear.			Double Sided 100weight Fleece This fleece is fuzzy on both sides. These are a bit thicker so they are warmer and feel great.

About the fleece
Most of my fleece is made by Malden Mills here in the USA. It is the best fleece available and goes by the brand name Polartec®

Technical Highlights

Provides warmth without the weight and bulk of traditional insulating fabrics

Machine washable. Please turn hats with eyes inside out to protect them.

Versatile; appropriate for a broad range of activities

I work with two different thicknesses which provide different levels of insulation for outdoor activities.

100 weight fabrics are the lightest and are excellent for a warm first layer, for heavy aerobic activity such as running or for warmer climates. Most of my skirts are made from this material.

200 weight is about twice as thick as 100wt. It is the normal weight that jackets are made of. It provides outstanding warmth and versatility.

300 weight is the thickest. It provides the most warmth. It normally is too thick for most hats

Brrr Brrr is a special fleece that is nubbly on the outside with a smooth face for the inside. Many folks enjoy the texture of this fabric. It is not as wind resistant as regular fleece.
