You see strange things on the trail like ducks on mountain tops.
This was a pet duck that rode on back of a hiker's pet dog.

 Every
day in New York and Massachusetts was above 100 degrees for me.
Water was hard to find. I drank straight from this
puddle. Yes that is a frog and other bugs. |
 I
can't remember this guys name but we hiked the south half of the presidential
range in NH in the morning. After a long break we hiked the northern
half at night. That is the almost full moon rising behind the
sign. |
 I
hiked on and off with an amazing guy named "herbsman."
He knew almost all the wild edible/medicinal plants. Here we are
enjoying food that some tourists gave us at Pinkum Notch, NH. By the way
I ate Annie's Macaroni and cheese 70 out of the 75 nights that trip |

The summit at the end. That's a bagel in my mouth. I was
a big bagel fan and must have really missed bagels after 75 days of
hiking. |
